Joseph Shaw is a composer, performer and arranger based in Sheffield. He has been performed and work-shopped by ensembles including the Aber:ri Duo, Absolution Saxophone Quartet, Angeli Che Cantano, BBC Singers, Fox Valley Voices, Inyerface Arts, Manchester Camerata, Meraki Duo, Psappha, RNCM Brand New Orchestra, RNCM Contemporary Music Society, the RNCM New Music Ensemble and the Sheffield Music Academy Chamber Orchestra.
As a freelance bass guitarist he has performed regulary across the UK as well being available for school productions and recording sessions.
Joseph holds a Bachelor with Honours degree from the Royal Northern College of Music, where he studied with Dr Larry Goves. He also studied at the Sheffield Music Academy with Callum Dewar and Dr Tom Owen.
